| Session and Holidays |

| The school session is from April to March of the
following year. The school has Term Break of 2-3 weeks in between
and Winter vacation of 10 weeks from mid December to end of February
as given in the school calendar. |
| Leave |
|
(a) Students are not permitted to leave the campus
without permission. Students may, however, be granted, for valid reasons,
not more than four days leave during an academic year.
(b) Students returning late are required to pay a fine of Rs. 100/-per
day and are liable for disciplinary action also.
(c) Leave is sanctioned only on the basis of Fax messages or letters
delivered personally or through postal services. Telephone messages
from parents/guardians are not entertained. |
| Birthdays |
|
| A birthday child is wished by the whole school in
the Morning Assembly and a party is hosted for him in the hostel the
following Saturday. Photographs are also taken on this special occasion.
Parents and relatives should not send eatables or costly gifts on
birthdays. |
| Valuables and Cash |
|
| Students are not permitted to keep valuables like
wrist watches, jewellry, electronic equipment, mobiles and CASH with
them. Parents are advised not to give any CASH to the children. Any
Special requirements , should be notified to the office and money
deposited in the office which will be properly and separately accounted
for. |
| Uniform and Clothing |
|
| All children must come to school in School Uniform,
List of items of school uniform and other articles of clothes including
sports dress, and footwear etc. are to be brought by the children.
Uniforms may be purchased by the parents from the prescribed dealers
at the approved rates (details will be a supplied by the school). |
| Telephone |
|
| Children are not allowed to use school telephone
or book calls from it( except in the case of emergency). Parents can
call their children on the Saturdays after 2:30 P.M. and on Sundays. |
| Night Stay |
|
| Parents are not permitted to stay with children in
the Hostels. The school has no provision for night stay of parents. |
| Verbal Assurances |
|
| No verbal assurance of any kind given by any member
of the staff or any one else will be accepted as binding on the school. |
| Transfer Certificate |
|
| Parents must give at least one week's notice for
issue of a transfer certificate which can be issued on a written request
and payment of a fee of Rs. 100/- |
| Withdrawal |
|
| Parents must give the Principal at least three months
advance notice in writing, if they wish to withdraw their child. Caution
money will not be refunded if lesser notice is given. The Principal
has the right to ask for the withdrawal of a child from the School
at any time without assigning any reason. Caution money should be
claimed within the financial year of withdrawal of the child failing
which it will be forfeited. Students leaving the school on any account,
must take their belongings immediately on their leaving the school,
after which no such claim shall be entertained. |
| Letter Writing |
|
| All children will write home once a fortnight on
alternate Mondays, under arrangements of Hostel Matrons/ House Masters.
The school has to exercise a mild censorship over the letters of children
for the benefit of the children themselves. |
| Prayers |
|
| Prayers are held in the morning and evening. Daily
attendance is compulsory. |
